Customarily preserves are made with more sugar than fruit. This is not the case with CHANTAINE FRENCH PRESERVES, they have much more fruit. Only special premium fruit is selected - Apricots from the Perpignan region of France, Strawberries from the Loire valley - carefully selected fruit of the French countryside.

The fruit is slowly cooked in double walled vessels to "preserve" its full flavor and character.
